* Recorded and released his first Album of Original songs in 1990 titled "It Ain't Just Country"

*  Wrote a song for "SIDS" titled "A Fallen Leaf"

*  1996 his second Album titled "Crazy Horse" was released

*  2000 his third Album titled "Outlaws Like to Rock" was released

*  2006 his fourth Album titled "He Walked The Line" was released

* 2009 his fifth album was a 20 song collection "The Best Of"

*   1994 he wrote 2 songs for "Tiny Tim" who recorded them, titled "Tip Toe Dance" and "Deep Freeze Momma"

*  Won 2 years straight, Song writers contest for WDLC for songs titled "Rollin Faster Down the Line" and "Tips of my Fingers"

* Another one of Carl's songs titled "Jamboree in Heaven" charted # 2 on independent label on WHVW radio in Poughkeepsie

*  Wrote 2 Albums for Singer / Comedian "Mr. Phil" who appeared on Comedy Central, MTV and Jimmy Kimmle Live (twice) where he sang one of Carl's songs on each show. Mr. Phil is doing a new project "The Original Sounds of Mr. Phil" with 10 of Carl's songs, to be released soon. Mr. Phil performed this on "America's Got Talent" in 2008.

* Carl loves crowd participation during his shows by bringing people out of the audience to play tambourine, clap, and sing along. This makes for lots of fun and audiences expects this whenever he performs

* Appeared on many Radio and TV shows including " WOR Radio" (Joey Reynolds Show) throughout his career. Carl has always kept a professional sound and style, like non other in the Tri-State area, always working hard to be the best in the business

* Wrote and appeared in one of Hudson Valleys biggest TV commercial for "Quickway Diner" in Bloomingburg

* President for "Port Jervis Deer Park Television" in Port Jervis, NY in 2006 & 2007. He is now Vice President in 2010.

* Working on his Sixth Album , to be released in 2010, called "Outlaws Like Me"

* 2008 won The Times Herald Record Critics Pole for "# 1 TV Personality "

* 2008 won River Reporters Critics Pole for 2 year in a row "# 1 Musician / Band " in the Tri State area

* 2008 Will be releasing in CD form my first songs recorded, on "Tune Tone Records"

AT the present time I am working on my own radio show, to be aired on many stations, called " Carl Richards Show "

Formed his own Publishing company called "REB Music publishing LLC" with Mr. Jay Benson & Brian emerick , ASCAP & BMI afilliated.

At present time Carl is getting air play in  Ireland, Canada, Texas, Norway, Neitherlands, Tennessee, New york, New Jersey & Pennsylvania.

Carl is looking to appear over seas in the future, with the help of promoter Dr. Gene.
